HOW TO PERFORM WELL IN PHYSICS - PART 1
1. Master the Basics
Physics
as a subject is based on several central theories with which everything is
developed. This means that every physics problem you will solve in an O level
physics exam or assessment is based on the core principles and concepts. The
mistake that most students make is trying to memorise complex problems, and
this leads to the notion that physics is a difficult subject.
2. Memorizing basic equations
Physics
is a subject where numerous forces in the universe and its relationship with
others are described by means of equations. Few equations are found to be
simple whereas many are complex. The equations are used in a number of places
in many problems and hence it is advisable to memorize the equations so that
they can be used in the right place instantly.
3. Think conceptually
Whether you’re searching for a unified field theory or studying the basic dynamics of force and motion, taking a conceptual approach to learning physics can help you break down your problem into a series of basic steps. Focus on the fundamentals, but keep the big picture in the back of your mind. Bringing together concepts into a unified understanding of the problem at hand makes finding a solution much easier.
