IMPORTANCE OF READING THE QURAN - PART 1
1. Source of Guidance and Light in our
Daily Life
Why is
reciting the Quran important? A new revert to Islam answered this question by
saying: “The Quran is a guide on how to avoid calamities in life among many
other things. In my personal opinion, I feel all children and teens should be
taught what is prescribed for us, Muslims and non-Muslims, to teach them to be
respectful adults and avoid economic and social stressors,”.
2. Source of Comfort
Whenever
I feel low, I open a random page of the Quran and start reading it. And you
won't believe it feels like Allah is talking to me and I legit find a verse
every time that is related to my problem and it instantly takes the burden off
my heart. It is like therapy. There's no better feeling than this.
3. Reading
Quran has great rewards
Allah is so great and merciful that He has given thousands of opportunities for His creation to repent and earn countless rewards. But, unfortunately, we are preoccupied with earning the reward of this world and not the Hereafter. Reading the Quran gives infinite reward. Allah commanded his servants to read the Quran and follow its instructions in the best way possible. Reading the Quran is the simplest way to earn and multiply rewards.
