HOW TO PERFORM WELL IN PHYSICS - PART 3

7. Math is the Key

The third astounding tip to study physics effectively is to keep your math game strong. Math is highly involved in the field of physics. There is always to medium to travel and the medium of physics is Math. Without math, you can catch physics’ pointers efficiently. Algebra, trigonometry, calculus, geometry, and linear algebra are the topics that can help you to understand physics easily and still if you are thinking how to learn physics effectively then here, is a mind map of math basic pointers.

8. Use Drawings

We have already looked at the impressive nature of mind maps. Another simple way to improve your physics grade is to use drawings and graphics to illustrate a concept in your O-level physics exam. It must not be something you have seen in a textbook, but it could also be an original idea that will help you remember what goes where and how they all relate. You can use practice questions to learn how you should draw comparisons. This will help make concepts easier to understand. While you study, you can use flashcards to help you learn new concepts with ease.

9. Making use of correct units

In physics, it is important to write the correct answer with the right units to help you score high. If you wish to gain credit for whatever problems you did, then writing the correct unit is important. Physics usually makes use of metric/SI measurements and some of the commonly used units are power, watts, acceleration, meters/seconds², force/Newton and more.

10. Be an active Learner in Class

Most of the learning happens in class. So make sure you make notes of what is being taught. While you can find most of it in the textbook, the unique insights that your physics teachers share in classes can act as a great reference point, later on, to improve your understanding of the concepts. In addition to this, making notes can help you memorise the concepts better.
