PERFORM BETTER IN COMPUTER SCIENCE - PART 1
1.
Start Studying
Early
Studying for an exam or completing an assignment
the day before — or worse, the day that it's due will lead to exhaustion and
frustration. If you start your assignments early, you’ll allow yourself plenty
of time to do research, meet with your professor, or arrange a study session
with your classmates to find out the solution to your problem. Once you master
how to study for computer science exams, you could serve as a resource for
other students in your study session.
2. Don't expect to learn everything during courses
Most of the time it’s not about asking yourself
what should I learn as a Computer Science student, but more about how to do it.
So here are some Computer Science study tips: all courses in this field rock,
but they won’t cover all the skills you might need in a job. For example, if
you’re planning to go into software development, you might learn a considerable
amount of programming languages, but you may need to go beyond that for work.
3. Avoid last-minute studying
This is true for almost any subject, but particularly for computer science. Because a lot of computer science classes have practical exams, last-minute studying rarely works. This can help you avoid the stress of trying to learn new skills just before exams or other tests and allow you to be relaxed during a test because you're not worried about the last-minute subjects you tried to learn.
