A language of higher education in France
Want
to study in France? Within Europe, France is the third most popular destination
for international students. More than 287,000 international students come to
study abroad at France’s universities and higher education institutions every
year, making it the fourth most popular student study destination abroad after
the US and UK. A third of French PhDs are awarded to students from outside
France, and almost half of all academic papers are co-authored with at least
one foreign colleague. France is committed to a policy of treating French and
international students equally, with identical and very low tuition fees for
courses leading to national diplomas (degrees), and the same access to
benefits, such as housing assistance and health insurance. Higher education in
France is known to prepare highly experienced and talented professionals,
highly skilled.

You will have access to French speaking countries and their wonders
Because
French is spoken in so many countries, it also means that you will have access
to many different cities and wonders of the French speaking world. In Europe,
you definitely should see Paris and the French countryside which
has so many different beautiful landscapes. You can also visit Belgium and Switzerland where
French is spoken as a main language in some of their regions. French is
widely taught in Germany, Greece and Italy too! In Asia, Vietnam,
Cambodia, Laos and Liban all allow a significant place to French. If you
are more into visiting Africa, then you will also find a lot of countries
that have French as their official or second language. They include: Algeria,
Marrocco, Tunisia, Congo, Ivory Coast, Senegal and a lot more sub-saharan
countries. As surprising as it gets, Quebec (in Canada) is not the
only place where French is spoken on the American continent.

In fact, France has won more Nobel Prizes for literature than any other country. The French are also admired for their great philosophers, such as Descartes and Pascal, Rousseau, Voltaire, Camus and Satre. When you read French, you can enjoy these works and authors in the original.
